- The Oil Seal 30x52x10 is commonly used in a variety of applications, including automotive, industrial, and agricultural machinery. - These gaskets are typically made from various types of rubber, such as NBR (Nitrile Butadiene Rubber), EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer), Viton, Silicone, or Neoprene, each chosen based on the specific application requirements. The choice of rubber material depends on factors like temperature resistance, chemical compatibility, pressure ratings, and environmental conditions.
- In addition to preventing oil leaks, the spark plug O-ring also helps to maintain the proper air-fuel mixture inside the combustion chamber. If this mixture is disrupted, it can result in poor engine performance and reduced fuel efficiency. By keeping the seal tight, the O-ring ensures that the spark plug is able to ignite the air-fuel mixture at the right time, allowing the engine to run smoothly and efficiently.

Standard springs are made of carbon steel. We use stainless-steel springs for our GR and GRST oil seals made from FKM rubber. In some rare cases, an O-ring is even used as a spring element. Standard PTFE lip seals are not fitted with springs.

Different Types Of Bearing Seals
As the pressure increases, the radial load and the friction of the sealing lip increase in contact with the shaft. As with temperature, each oil seal has a recommended pressure for optimum performance. Excessive pressure causes the seals to wear more quickly and consequently have a shorter life.

Oil seals with outer metal cases may include finishes or treatments applied to the outer edge to aid in rust protection, identification, and sealing of scratches or imperfections in the housing bore. Common finishes applied to the outside edge of metal O.D. oil seals include plain (a bonding agent of usually a yellowish-green color), a color-painted edge, and a grinded-polished edge.
Fit the gasket to the cover, making sure any screw holes line up. If the gasket has tongues, fit them into their cutouts.
