- Waffle weave, derived from its distinct textured pattern resembling a waffle, is a technique that creates a lightweight, breathable, and highly absorbent fabric. This unique weaving method gives the bathrobe its characteristic thickness without adding excessive weight, making it ideal for year-round use. The open structure of the weave allows air to flow freely, ensuring a refreshing experience after a hot shower or a dip in the pool.
Dobby weaves are produced on a dobby loom and contain small geometric or stripe patterns throughout. This weave creates more texture than others, as the shapes (be it squares, diamonds, dots, or the like), have a slightly raised feel. The most common design for bed sheets is thick stripes.
When we use the term bed linen we are generally referring to the sheets used to cover the mattress so that the sleeper is comfortable and the mattress is protected. If blankets or covers are being used a second sheet needs to be used for comfort between the sleeper and the roughness of the blankets. If a continental quilt is being used the top sheet is usually omitted.

Patterned bedding - Keep patterned linens simple, with minimal neutral or earth tone colours that will blend well with the rest of the colours in your bedroom. If your pattern is too busy or too loud, it will clash with the any other patterns you have, curtains, rugs, throws, etc.

Flannel Sheets
However, these are not to be confused with Belgium or French Flax Linen. Manufacturers created this subtle distinction to determine how much of the linen production process is done in its country of origin.

Satin:Satin is an extremely similar weave to sateen — in fact, it’s basically the same thing. Satin also uses a three or four over, one under weave. However, thedifferencelies in the materials used to create the weave. Satin is made exclusively with filament fibers, while sateen is made with staple fibers.
