Process, materials, and testing (quick but not skimpy)

Origin: North of Xiangqiu village, North Zhaozhuang Industrial Zone, Jinzhou City, Hebei province. The process is surprisingly orderly: board selection (ASTM C1396/EN 520 compliant gypsum), PVC hot-lamination, aluminum foil backing, trimming, edge sealer, then QC.

Typical checks: surface adhesion (peel test), thickness and density, humidity sag testing, burn tests (ASTM E84), and spot cleanability cycles with standard detergents. Service life? Around 10–15 years indoors when installed per EN 13964 grid guidance and kept below high-humidity extremes.
